How the numbers are calculated
- Mean — arithmetic average of values:
Σx / n. - Median — middle value after sorting (average of two middle values if even
n). - σ (stdev) — population standard deviation:
√(Σ(x − mean)² / n). - Trend slope — simple linear regression of national daily max vs day index (0…n−1); units are UV per day.
- Daylight hours — hours where UV > 0.5; band % is counted only on those hours.
Credits & data window
UV series from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0). History starts from the first backfill / live recording and grows hourly thereafter.
